We are on site to begin two weeks of fieldwork at the Dall Bay South Crannog. This is only the second crannog in Loch Tay to be excavated, so it is anyone’s guess what we will find.

Dall South Crannog

We are targeting this site as it has produced two radiocarbon dates from the Early Iron Age. We are hoping to find more Early Iron Age phases as we lift the protective stone capping and reveal the organic remains of the crannog.

We will be keeping you abreast of developments here and on twitter and facebook, so be sure to follow us over there.
